During the seminar, interested representatives of the construction industry will be introduced to the Rail Baltica mainline Engineer contract main principles – early contractor involvement, mobilization requirements in different construction stages, main principles of organization of contract. Also, separate questions and answers session will be organized.
The webinar will be held using the Microsoft Teams app with the planned duration of the meeting approximately 2 hours. Working language will be English and, if necessary, Latvian.
The interested suppliers, who will participate the meeting, should consider that the meeting will be documented (incl. it will be recorded) and its summary will be published. The information provided during the meeting will be disclosed to third persons for the Contracting Authority to ensure transparency of the process, observation of the principle of equal treatment and not to restrict competition.
To participate in the consultation, the interested supplier should apply by 19 January 2022, 10:00 (EET) by sending application information to the specified e-mail of the Contracting Authority’s contact person: firstname.lastname@example.org, containing company name, registration number, participant name(-s), e-mail address and phone number (the interested supplier is entitled to indicate a maximum of 3 representatives). Invitations to registered participants will be sent no later than by 19 January 202212:00 (Riga time).

About tender “Consulting engineer and construction supervision services for the Rail Baltica mainline construction in Latvia”
Tender will be held in two stages: during the first stage candidates will be selected therefore evaluation and discussions of proposals, submission of final proposals and the conclusion of the procurement contract will take place in the second stage.

The tender for FIDIC engineering and construction supervision services is taking place at the same time with previously launched tender “Rail Baltica main line construction in Latvia”.
The total length of the Rail Baltica railway line in Latvia is approximately 260 km starting at the Lithuania-Latvia border and running through 10 municipal territories: Bauska, Ķekava, Olaine, Mārupe county, the capital city Riga towards the direction of Estonia through Salaspils, Ropaži, Sigulda, Saulkrasti and Limbaži counties.
Up to 85% of the project is financed from the European Union’s Connecting Europe Facility with the remaining part being ensured by the Latvian state budget.
